Physiotherapy Clinician Levels

Level 1 – Degree or Postgraduate Masters Qualification in Physiotherapy with 1-3 years’ clinical experience. Able to treat general Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.

Level 2 – Physiotherapist with 3-6 years’ clinical experience, able to treat a range of MSK conditions with some special interest and skills in more chronic or complex conditions.

Level 3 – Physiotherapist with 7-12 years’ clinical experience. Special interests or skills for unique and complex conditions and an advanced scope of practice that may affect faster, more comprehensive resolution.

Clinical Specialist – Physiotherapist with 12 Years+ advanced clinical experience through post-graduate qualifications, specialist courses or master’s programs that afford specialist skills for a defined area of clinical practice with unique, complex, or multifactorial presentations.
